DAANS
Spelling Bee
Our
Fifth Grade students participated in the DAANS Spelling
Bee on November 6, 2008. They did extremely well
earning 4th place overall.

Academic
Olympics
We
congratulate Cristina Gorrita, her family, and
teachers! Cristina earned a Bronze Medal in
History at the Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School
Olympics.
We
congratulate Giselle Hernandez, her family and
teachers! She earned a Silver Medal in Art at the
Columbus Olympics.
In
Religion, Daniel Tovar earned a Silver Medal and
we congratulate him, his family, and teachers.
In
the subject of Science, Giovanni Zayas-Bazan
brought home a Bronze Medal. We congratulate him,
his family, and tachers.
We
also congratulate Luis Montero, his family, and
teachers. Luis earned a Silver Medal in Spanish.
Nicholas
Oyarzun brought home a Bronze Medal in the Speech

elections. Our candidates delivered their speeches
live via the closed circuit TV system for all the
students to watch and enjoy.
