Congratulations
to Nathalie De Almagro ('08)!
Nathalie
is a Sophomore at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy
and has a course load that includes AP
classes. Still she was once again one of
the 14 Sophomores to obtain First Honors with
all A's and a GPA of 4.9 for the first
quarter. She was also selected to become a
member of the Spanish competition team after
having excelled in her AP Spanish class.
We
are very proud of Nathalie's accomplishments!

the Academic Olympics at Coleman Carroll, our
Alumni who presently attend there, stopped by to

Congratulations
to Nathalie De Almagro ('08) who attended
all Honors Classes in her Freshman Year at Our
Lady of Lourdes Academy. She was one of
only 6 Freshmen to obtain First Honors in the
4th Quarter and finished the year with a 4.75
GPA. Nathalie also received special
recognition for the overall highest GPA in L3
Mathematics.
We
are very proud of Nathalie and of the quality
work our teachers at Good Shepherd do on a daily
basis.

the Graduation Dinner-Dance attended by
students, parents, faculty, and staff, Nicholas
Oyarzun ('09) took the time to wish Mrs. Del
Riego farewell.


Good
Shepherd Alum (Class of 2009), Antonio "The
Big Dog" Chaljub paid a visit to Mrs. Del
Riego to present her with a "Big Dog"
to remember him by.
Antonio
will be going to Archbishop Coleman Carroll High
School in the fall.


Good
Shepherd Annual Alumni Mass was held on Sunday,
May 3rd.
It
was a wonderful treat to see our returning
students!

One
of our best student athletes while at Good
Shepherd, we are not surprised to see that Christian
Sosa has excelled academically and in the
field of sports at Archbishop Coleman Carroll
High School. At ACC, Christian played on
the Basketball team and earned a letterman
jacket for his efforts.

We
congratulate Fabiola De Armas on being accepted
to the Our Lady of Lourdes Academy National
Honor Society as a Freshman! This is not
the usual protocol for them but an exception was
made due to Fabiola's outstanding grades,
academic performance, and extra-curricular
participation.

Fabiola
also did very well competing in the Miami Dade
County Youth Fair earning a First Place in
Spanish.


Graduates
Kassie Fernandez and Catalina Fundora were
present at Downtown Disney to cheer for our
Choir as they performed there in December.


Victoria
Suarez and Tiare Garvich (Class of '07) are
proud athletes at Archbishop Coleman Carroll
High School where they are on the Cross Country
Team. Go RAMS!


Elaine
Johnston (Class of '08 presently at St.
Brendan), Fabiola De Armas (Class of '08
presently at Our Lady of Lourdes) and Crystal
Almond (Class of '07 presently at Mast Academy)
came back to visit our school. They are

Sean
Vilar, class of 2006 competed in June 2008
at the
Florida Sunshine state games in Saber
fencing, and won a silver medal for 2nd
place.
During
the summer he also competed in at the US
Southeast Sectional Championships in
Tallahassee
, Fl. and US Summer Nationals in
San Jose
,
CA
.

Bernadette
Alger (Class Valedictorian 2007) is ranked 6 out
of 206 Freshmen at Archbishop Coleman Carroll
High School with a GPA of 4.34.
She
was inducted into the Spanish Honor
Society. She took all Honors
Courses her Sophomore year as she did her
Freshman year.
In
addition to her academic accomplishments she
continues to play basketball and runs track and
field.
We
congratulate Bernadette on all her many
accomplishments!

Graduate
of the Class of 2007, Andres Tovar is currently
attending Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School.
While
at Gulliver, he won the "Gulliver Scholarship Award"
for best student.
Andres
had a general average of 98.8 with a 4.3 GPA


We
are extremely proud of Andres and his
accomplishments.
